Summer School: A Play in a Week for Clifton's Young Performers
Five days, one showcase — how our Summer School takes 7-13 year olds from page to stage with professional drama teacher Anna Friend.
After the huge success of last year, Summer School is back — and this year we are doing it all over again: a play in a week, from page to stage, with a family showcase at the end.
Who it's for
Summer School is for 7 to 13 year olds who love performing — and for those who have never tried it but fancy having a go. No experience is necessary; the week is built around games, imaginative play, role play and storytelling, all led by me, Anna Friend.
What the week looks like
We run Monday to Friday, 10am to 4pm, with a welcome session for families on the Sunday before. The group works as an ensemble to build a piece they perform together, learning how to collaborate and, most importantly, having a lot of fun along the way. Find the dates, what to bring and how to book on the Summer School page.
Places are limited and they tend to go quickly — book early if you can.
