We recommend booking, especially for dinner and on Sundays. You can book online using the form on our homepage, or call us on 0117 973 5171. For groups of 7 or more, please email us to make an enquiry.
Yes — well-behaved dogs are welcome in the bar and beer garden. Please mention your dog in your booking comments so we can seat you at a suitable table.
The pub and beer garden are step-free from the street. The theatre upstairs is reached by narrow staircases and, unfortunately, is not accessible to those with mobility issues, and there is no hearing loop in the auditorium.
We're at 18-20 Alma Vale Road, Clifton, BS8 2HY. On-street parking is available locally, and Clifton Down and Westbury Park are a short walk away.
Yes — vouchers for any Zazu's pub can be bought at zazuspubs.co.uk/gift-card. For theatre vouchers, please contact the theatre manager directly.

48, in tiered seating. It's one of the most intimate venues in Bristol — there isn't a bad seat in the house.
Yes, and you're welcome to take it upstairs. Please arrive around 15 minutes before curtain so you can settle in before the performance begins.
Yes — 25% off the whole food menu for pre-theatre diners. Booking is essential, and please tell us in the booking comments that you're dining pre-theatre, no less than 1.5 hours before your show.
Full refund (minus a £1 admin fee per ticket) with over a week's notice. With less notice we'll try to resell your tickets and refund if we can. Refunds take up to two weeks via Stripe, or 72 hours via PayPal.
Events & private hire
No — our Sunday Sessions are free to attend, every Sunday from 7pm. Just turn up and find a spot in the bar.

Yes — the pub restaurant books out year round for birthday dinners, wakes, anniversaries and full venue takeovers. Enquire via the Events page and we'll talk numbers, dates and menus.
Sorry, no — the events enquiry form can't be used to book quiz tables. Please call us on 0117 973 5171 for quiz-night bookings.
Weddings
Typically between 30 and 80 guests, for either half-day or full-day hire. Get in touch to talk your numbers.
We book weddings from January through September, with October and November available by arrangement. We don't book full-day weddings in December, when the pub turns festive.
Absolutely. We can recommend trusted local florists, photographers and entertainment, or you're welcome to bring your own.
Yes — we are fully booked for 2026. Please get in touch about availability for 2027 onwards.
Anything from an informal buffet to a full three-course sit-down meal, all cooked fresh in-house with seasonal, locally sourced produce. Example menus, including canapés and evening buffets, can be provided on request.
Summer School
7-13 year olds. No previous drama experience is necessary — just an enthusiasm for performing.
Monday 4th to Friday 8th August, 10am to 4pm daily, with a welcome session for families on Sunday 3rd August from 11am to 2pm.
