Back to HomeWe can host a full day of celebrations or after-ceremony receptions in our intimate pub restaurant, with options for half-day or full-day hire. Our newly refurbished pub provides a tasteful, neutral starting point for further personalised decoration, while the traditional pub bar backdrop injects a lovely unique character to proceedings! We can recommend local florists, photographers, entertainment and decorating ideas to make your day extra special.
Our menu options range from informal buffet to full 3-course sit-down meals, all freshly cooked in-house in the Alma Kitchen. We always work with fresh, seasonal ingredients sourced (where possible) from local vendors. Our menus are tailored to your needs, with a range of pricing options, and example menus can be provided on request - just ask!
We typically book weddings from January-September, but can discuss pricing options for October and November weddings, just get in touch. Unfortunately we do not book full-day weddings in December.
We strive to tailor a day to each couple, making every Alma wedding personal and unique. There's no pre-packaged Alma wedding - every aspect of the day is down to you. Fancy a ceilidh? We'll make it happen! Karaoke wedding? Done! Want us to source that amazing gin you had on holiday that one time? Leave it to us. Kid friendly, pet friendly, life friendly.

Your day, your way
There is no off-the-shelf Alma wedding. Half-day or full-day, sit-down or buffet, ceilidh or karaoke — every element is down to you. We will guide you on timings, recommend trusted local florists and photographers, and tailor the food to the season and your tastes.
Our catering approach
Everything is cooked fresh, in-house, in the Alma kitchen, working with seasonal, locally sourced produce wherever possible. Menus run from an informal buffet to a full three-course sit-down meal, and example menus — including canapés and evening buffets — can be provided on request.
Numbers & timings
We typically host weddings for between 30 and 80 guests and book January through September, with pricing available for October and November on request. We don't book full-day weddings in December, when the pub takes on its festive spirit instead.
